Mr. Swiney is an accomplished national housing professional since 1987 and is highly rated for his superior ability to communicate in a participative and effective way with all audiences.  His career began as a trainer in the retail industry in 1984 and has trained more than 30,000 professionals and is considered the most entertaining and informative in the property management industry.

 

Since 1997, Mr. Swiney’s has lead the nation in HUD Section 3 compliance services, training and advocacy.  He has provided technical assistance to 94% of the nation’s state housing and community development associations in 42 states representing all types of Section 3 recipients including cities, counties, states, and public housing authorities. He was the first to conduct a national Section 3 Summit and held national trainings twice annually.  He has owned three asset and property management companies and as a  forensic executive, he has created, reorganized, and stabilized multiple portfolios for public, private and institutional owners.
